Product Care

  • Rubber Trees prefers bright to moderate indirect light. Place it close to a south-facing window or your brightest alternative. But avoid direct sun, as the leaves will scorch.
  • Jade plants can tolerate long periods of bright indirect sunlight and prefer 4 or more hours of sunlight each day. As your plant grows, it will be able to tolerate more sun.
  • Peperomias prefer moderate to bright indirect light. They will tolerate lower light levels, but you may notice less growth.
  • Water your Rubber Tree 1–2 times per week depending on humidity. (Rubber trees enjoy humidity!) Keep the soil moist but not soggy. If overwatered, leaves may turn yellow and fall off.
  • Watering Jades depend entirely on the season and the level of sunlight it receives. Ensure that the soil is dry before watering by placing your finder an inch into the soil.
  • Peperomia leaves will feel thin and lifeless when they are thirsty. Bring it to a sink and let the water thoroughly flow through the growers pot before returning to its decorative pot.
  • Once you find a good spot for your Rubber Tree, leave it! They are known to be sensitive to fluctuating temperature changes.
  • In Canada, the Jade will do well to sit outside in a bright spot during the summer but ensure that you bring the plants indoors if the temperature dips under 10 degrees Celsius.
  • Feel your peperomia between your fingers to check if they are thirsty, leaves should feel plump and full when they are watered thoroughly. If they are thin and flat, time to water your peperomia!
