Product Care

  • Snake plants can tolerate variable light conditions, from bright direct light to low, even artificial, light sources. In other words, put this plant anywhere!
  • ZZs prefer low to moderate light conditions. It can happily live 2–3 metres away from windows. Avoid direct sunlight as your plant will burn.
  • Water your Snake every 2–4 weeks, allowing the soil to completely dry out between waterings. If possible, place your snake plant in the sink, allowing the base of your plant to receive water first.
  • Try to keep your ZZ’s soil slightly moist. Virtually “unkillable,” your easy ZZ will forgive you if you put it through some drought conditions. (Overwatering can cause stem & root rot. Look for yellowing leaves as an indicator.)
  • In need of some fresh air? An excellent air-purifying plant, the snake plant works the day shift and the night shift, absorbing toxins and releasing oxygen 24–7.
  • Wipe your ZZ foliage with a damp cloth making it shine & enabling it to capture all available light.
